Lace up those running shoes and get ready for the Run for the Ta-Tas 5K Chaser Race and 1-Mile Walk on Saturday, October 3. This is not a typical 5K. It’s a Chaser Race, one of a kind in the region! In this unique race format, women start first, giving them a head start over the men. Men start exactly 2 minutes and 30 seconds after the women (hint on the name: Run For the Ta-Tas.) The first participant to cross the finish line, male or female, wins Cash. This is a fast and flat paved roads course that takes runners around Mayfaire Town Center. It is a USATF Certified Course. There will be music and entertainment for runners at every round-about on the course!
Saturday, October 3
6:30 a.m. – On-site Registration Opens
7:15 a.m. – 1 MILE registration closes
7:30 a.m. – 1 MILE KIDS RACE Starts
7:45 a.m. – 5K Registration Closes
8:00 a.m. – Women 5K Starts
8:02 a.m. – Men start chasing women
9:00 a.m. – Awards Start (This time is approximate)
Please plan to be at the start line 10 minutes prior to the start of the race wearing your race number on the front of your shirt. Women in the 5K will start first, once they have all exited the starting area, the men will be permitted to fill in the starting area.
Walkers and strollers are asked to line up in the back.
COURSE:
This is a fast and flat paved roads course takes runners around Mayfaire Town Center. Traffic will be extremely light. You can find the USATF Certified !
RACE SHIRTS:
Participants who register by September 3, 2015 will be guaranteed a Without Limits brand race shirt. IMPORTANT: The Without Limits brand shirts do run a little smaller than unisex shirts. These are higher quality shirts that are made in boutique sizes. Children 5 & under who registered for FREE will not receive a shirt.
